Livia is Head of Sustainability at Novastar Ventures, based in London. Livia started her career at the UK’s development financial institution, British International Investments, working with portfolio companies in Africa and South Asia by helping them strengthen their ESG management. She later joined CVC Capital Partners as ESG Officer and then transitioned at Bregal Investments, as ESG Senior Associate, leading the ESG strategy across the firm’s 7BN funds of funds and indirect and co-investment programme, driving due diligence, portfolio value creation, and Investment Committee decision-making across 70+ General Partners. Livia joined Novastar in 2026. She graduated from the London School of Economics with a Global Master in Management, with MBA Exchange programme at Chicago Booth.
